We were met by Jan who showed us to our room. The room was lovely, clean and very comfortable, with a huge bed! In the evening our waiter for the evening was matt he was very friendly and informative, he couldn't do enough for us. The meal was absolutely spot on we couldn't fault anything. Next morning the continental breakfast was delicious. All in all a lovely stay a day we will go again.

THE BEST AFTERNOON TEA I HAVE EVER HAD!!!!!! My wife and I arrived a little early for our afternoon tea and was a little worried to see an empty carpark but use this to our advantage and parked in the shade. Walked into reception to find an empty desk but a member of staff soon appeared with an apology but was literally 30 seconds and nothing to apologise for. She took us down to our table in the summer house / orangery and was surprised to see we had the place to our selves but not to worry the room was beautiful and on a hot sunny day the doors were open and the gardens immaculate. The afternoon tea arrived about 10 minutes after we sat down and what can I say... Absolutely fantastic!!!! There was just me and my wife but enough food to feed at least 6 the sandwiches were fresh and tasty and the cakes were devine! Spongy and moist just how I like them. Teas/ Coffees/ prosecco all amazing. Only thing I can pick up on is there needs to be a bit of background music it was rather quiet but other than that 5 stars. We be will definitely returning. Thank you to the staff at Woodborough Hall.
Fantastic day, everything was perfect, great food and drink and the staff couldn't do enough for us from planning to the day itself it was more than we hoped for, couldn't fault anything and such a lovely place too, thank you.

What a beautiful pub in what is such an incredibly beautiful little village just outside the city. We were here for a family lunch and had some really good time. The foods was great the service and staff were also very good but mostly importantly for families, the children play area. Good range of choice for their drinks too.
It's a chain pub (Greene King) but extremely well run. Nice staff and food good value for money. They also have free WiFi

A very homely yet posh place to eat. The menu choice was exquisite and varied. with something for everyone. We had a sharing platter starter and I can recommend the salmon and spring onion fish cakes. The children's menu was the usual expected fair that fulfilled our needs. The only downside was it seemed like the time between courses was a little extended but the food was hot and the staff were friendly.
Very quiet Sunday afternoon apparently due to it being barbecue weather. Food was delicious, always is, just the Sunday roast portions are dismal. Doesn't stop me going there, I just order something else. Waiter very chatty and attentive. Mentioned the loose toilet seat!! Could have been a nasty mishap but anyhow, good food, nice surroundings all in all it was OK.

Really great village setting, the interior was really to my taste. The food was delicious, staff were friendly. Very dog friendly, Water bowls were out for the dogs both inside and out. I shall be back!
Lovely for lunch, tea or just a drink! The staff could have been a little bit more friendly as I felt like I had to be quite formal around them... There's a new park just over the road and you can watch the kids whilst having your burger which is great! The food could have tasted a bit nicer, but that might just be me...

Had a fantastic week staying at the mews, accommodation is outstanding, home from home. Susan is very kind and welcoming 😊 lots to do around the area. Definitely going back next year!! Highly recommend!!
The situation of this apartment is beautiful and peaceful. It is only ten minutes into Arnold shopping centre and a little longer into the town centre of Nottingham. Everywhere in the apartment is clean and there is everything a family would need. Susan is very welcoming and friendly. I would highly recommend a stay here. We loved it!

If you would like something truly different you might like to have a look at Airbnb. These are mostly B and Bs provided by people on a very informal basis. The may have a spare room, a yurt, a cottage or a barge with space they can receive guests for a night or a month! The website is highly professional. You can really see what you are going to get. Very well worth a look. Airbnb also show 'conventional' B&Bs as well. Enjoy!
